Umpire Program
The Central Sussex Umpires Association invites you to participate in our Sports at the Beach Umpire Program. You will be a guest at Sports at the Beach and your stay will be expense free. Our Umpire Program has been developed and continues to grow because of the dedication and passion of those who are most responsible…you and your colleagues. It is your thoughts and ideas that guide us to enhance a program that attracts the most devoted umpires in the country. It is our pleasure to serve you.
This one of a kind opportunity for the umpires will allow a deeper appreciation of an umpire's role in the game both on and off the field. As an Umpire, you will interact with the game's most prized ambassadors: the players, coaches and team family members, stressing the game's most valuable lessons of hustle, sportsmanship, competition and fairness. Umpire Program Highlights
- Five nights / Six days lodging in the Sports at the Beach complex

NOTE
- Umpires must be 18 years or older.
- Umpires must submit an Umpire Participation form and be approved by Sports at the Beach prior to attending.
Laundry Service
Sports at the Beach has contracted with Beachy Clean Laundry Service, an independent service, to provide laundry service for campers, coaches and umpires during the season. The laundry service is optional. However, based on the extremely positive response from parents, and the professional service provided by Beachy Clean Laundry Service, we strongly recommend this service.
In response to requests last year, the laundry service will include daily laundering of personal clothing and towels, in addition to uniforms.
UMPIRES SERVICE
- $18.00 per week
- Wash, dry and fold service
- Uniforms, personal clothing, and towels
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights
- Pressing service for umpire uniforms is included.

Sign-up Instructions
Umpires are responsible for signing-up for their laundry during Sunday afternoon registration, a Beachy Clean representative will be available to answer questions and for sign-up.Payment is due at time of sign-up. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, certified checks, bank checks, and travelers' checks, and Team Checks. Personal checks are NOT acceptable forms of payment.
