Policies

Our policies are presented below for your review. These policies are effective as of September 1, 2007 and apply to all 2008 tournament registrations. This policy is subject to change at any time without notice.

Registrations

All registrations are to be made using web site. Lack of or tardiness of payment will result in automatic loss of registration position and a placement on waiting list. Payments must be made via our website by credit card or by mailing a check payable to Sports at the Beach.

Weekend Tournaments

A non-refundable deposit of $175.00 is due within seven (7) days of registration. Deposits are not transferable to other weekend tournaments . Deposits are also not transferable to other teams including teams within one organization. Deposits that are refunded due to Sports at the Beach cancelling a tournament will be refunded via the original transaction such as credit card or check.

Full payment must be received sixty (60) days or more in advance of tournament. If payment in full is not received the team will drop from the tournament.

New registrations within sixty (60) days of tournament require immediate full payment via credit card.

Summer Classics

A first deposit of $500.00 is due within fourteen (14) days of registration.

A second payment of $1,500.00 is due on Feburay 1, 2008.

Full balance payment must be received sixty (60) days or more in advance of tournament.

Camps

A non-refundable deposit of $150.00 is due within seven (7) days of registration.

Full balance payment must be received sixty (60) days or more in advance of camp.

A team consisting of 10 or more participants will receive a $75.00 per participant discount.

Dormitories

Dormitories are optional as part of a weekend tournament registration. A valid credit card is required to be held on file if dormitories are selected. Sports at the Beach will hold each team responsible for any damage done to the dorm.

Full payment must be received sixty (60) days or more in advance of tournament.

Summer Classic tournaments include dormitories.

Cancellations

Cancellation notification should be provided by the initial registrant in written form (e-mail, fax or letter). Not being present at tournament check-in is considered a cancellation.

Weekend Tournaments

Cancellations prior to the release of the schedule will result in a refund of the balance paid less $175.00. Refer to refund policy below.

All other cancellations will receive no refund.

Weather Related: Any cancellation executed by Sports at the Beach as a result of weather will follow this schedule:

Cancellations for the Summer Classics are as follows:

Camps

All cancellations will receive a refund of the balance paid less $150.00 per participant.

Payments

Date of payment receipt will dictate tournament registrant roster. Sports at the Beach is not responsible if a Credit Card is not accepted or is rejected by our system.

Credit Cards

Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted when making online credit card payments. All transactions are protected with 128-bit SSL encryption for security and protection of your privacy. Sports at the Beach does not take credit cards over the phone.

Checks

Checks are required to be received 14 days prior to the actual due date. Any check not received at least 14 days in advance will be automatically returned via USPS.

Other Methods

Sports at the Beach also accepts certified and cashier's checks within 14 days of due date.

Refunds

All refunds will be returned to the individual who initiated the payment and in the same method (credit card / check) as initially provided within four (4) weeks.

Carts/ATV's

Carts and ATV's not owned by Sports at the Beach have a policy as stated below.

Carts must register at the Welcome Center and sign a release waiver along with a $1.00 fee.

No one under the age of 16 is allowed to drive carts at Sports at the Beach.

We will provide a permit for the vehicle to be displayed at all times while on our complex.

Notifications

All notifications regarding registration, financial transactions, cancellation and scheduling will be sent to the e-mail address provided during Coaches Access sign-up. We will required authentication of your e-mail account during the sign-up process. You are responsible for providing a valid e-mail address, be conscious of filtering that may block these important messages.
